Retirement Planning…?

I'm looking into planning for retirement, or setting up retirement accounts (i.e. 403b, 401k, roth ira, traditional ira). Im 19 and i roughly make 18,000 a year. how much money should i put in a month? if so, which accounts would most benefit me? which accounts would be best to use? Thanks for the help! [...]

What is the advantage of a traditional IRA to just owning stocks and mutual funds?

Why should I have a vehicle to keep my mutual funds in? They are easily accessible when needed. I will be taxed at both points in time with or without a traditional IRA. The roth is not an option.

Tax implications of selling a Rollover IRA position and buy ETFs with the proceeds?

I currently have a Rollover traditional IRA with Scottrade. I would like to know the tax implications of getting out of the Rollover IRA, and purchasing Exchange Traded Funds with the proceeds. Thank you!

If I have a retirement plan at work , can I stil contribute to a roth ira -?

I file married filing jointly - what is the income cut off for donating to a roth? Husband is self- employed and no retirement plan - he puts his in a traditional ira - what is his cut off
